Absences*

The mother of a family is preparing to celebrate Christmas Eve with her loved ones. Excited, she cleans, cooks, and decorates the space to welcome the guests, as this is a very important tradition for all of them. However, she soon starts to worry when she doesn't receive confirmation of her family's attendance. Nevertheless, she finishes her work proudly and gets ready to wait for them. It doesn't take long for her to discover that she will be the only one attending the event. However, it's not she who will dine alone, but the missing family member, as the rest of the family will have dinner without her, keeping her in their thoughts during their first Christmas dinner since her passing.
